Previously, he worked as a Software Developer, driving data science consulting projects across EMEA and globally and collaborating on the research and development of cutting-edge products.

Eamon Whalen is an Engineering Data Science Manager at Altair with over eight years of experience in engineering and data-driven innovation. In his current role, he leads initiatives to help engineering teams optimize their design processes through data and simulation technologies.

Previously, Eamon served as an Engineering Data Scientist, working closely with companies to integrate data analytics and simulation into their workflows, improving efficiency and performance. His earlier role as an Application Engineer involved educating engineers across industries on finite element analysis (FEA) and structural optimization using Altair's advanced software solutions.

With a strong background in engineering and a passion for leveraging data to drive innovation, Eamon continues to play a pivotal role in transforming how engineers approach design and development.
