With over 26 years of expertise in the field, Senecal has been instrumental in the development of CONVERGE®, the company's flagship product, which eliminates user-defined meshing and introduces a groundbreaking process that dynamically couples automated meshing with the solver during run-time.
Senecal is also a visiting professor at the University of Oxford, the chair of the ICE Division at ASME, and an elected fellow of SAE, ASME, and the Combustion Institute. He has received numerous prestigious accolades, including the 2019 ASME IC Engine Award, recognizing his significant contributions to the engine and automotive industries. A pioneer in the use of genetic algorithms for engine and combustion system optimization, Senecal is also the creator of the widely adopted LISA spray breakup model.
